One person is dead following a collision between a pickup truck and an e-bike.
Emergency services responded to reports of the collision at the intersection of Lancaster Street and Guelph Street in Kitchener around 9:45 p.m. Friday.
The driver of the e-bike, a 44-year-old Kitchener man, was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 36-year-old Kitchener man, had no reported injuries.
The intersection was closed for several hours while police were investigating, but has since reopened.
