A mother and her 10-month old daughter were killed by a falling 100ft tree as they searched for Easter eggs in a forest.
A 16-year-old girl was also crushed to death underneath the log in Satrupholm, northern Germany on Easter Sunday.
The woodland was under a storm warning when the Easter Egg Hunt took place, according to reports. Four people were crushed under the same log at around 11am.
Around 50 residents and staff from the nearby ‘Sterni-Park’ residential group, which helps young, vulnerable mothers, were in the woods searching for Easter eggs when the tree fell.
Eyewitnesses said colourful eggs were strewn across the accident site amid 60mph winds.

Another young woman, 18, was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries, where she underwent surgery.
The baby was airlifted to a hospital in Kiel with life-threatening injuries, where she later died.
Terrified participants told emergency services that a tree had fallen on several people, trapping them.
The fire service and ambulances immediately responded to the scene, according to German newspaper Bild.
It is still unclear whether the fallen tree had any pre-existing damage or disease. A police spokesperson said that the state forestry service had already been informed of the incident.
‘The terrible accident near Satrupholm on Easter Sunday has deeply shaken us,’ declared Minister-President Daniel Günther.
‘Our thoughts are with the families of the deceased, the injured, and all those who had to witness this terrible event.
‘In these difficult hours, we wish those affected strength, support and the assistance they so urgently need.’
