Here are the last updates from day 39 of Israel’s and the United States’ war against Iran and Hezbollah:
■ Hundreds took part in the funeral of three of the four victims of an Iranian missile strike on Haifa, northern Israel.
■ Hezbollah rocket and drone attacks triggered multiple sirens in northern Israel, with several impacts reported and one person lightly wounded.
■ Iran fired ballistic missiles with cluster warheads at Tel Aviv, central Israel, Ben-Gurion and Ramon airports and the West Bank, triggering sirens. Several impacts were reported.
■ Two people were killed and a police officer was wounded in a gunfire incident near the building housing the Israeli consulate in Istanbul, media reports said.
■ U.S. and Israeli airstrikes killed at least 18 people in a province bordering the Iranian capital Tehran, Iran’s Fars news agency reported on Tuesday. Strikes were also reported in Tehran and in Khomarrabad Airport.
■ A U.S.-Israeli missile destroyed a synagogue in central Tehran, Iran’s semi-official Mehr news agency said Tuesday. Other Iranian media reported that the place of worship was completely destroyed.
■ The Israeli military said it had attacked another petrochemical plant in Shiraz, southern Iran, after attacking a similar plant in the South Pars gas field Tuesday night.
■ Russian satellites have made dozens of detailed imagery surveys of military facilities and critical sites across the Middle East to help Iran strike U.S. forces and other targets, according to a Ukrainian intelligence assessment.
