TBR Football can exclusively confirm the latest developments around Nicolas Jackson’s future at Chelsea amid interest from Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
Newcastle United have endured a difficult summer, missing out on a host of top targets, while Alexander Isak is looking to leave the club amid interest from Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Villa have struck a deal for Evann Guessand, but they are looking for more reinforcements up front to ensure Unai Emery has enough firepower for next season.
TBR Football can also confirm what Jackson thinks about the prospect of moving to either Newcastle or Aston Villa in the coming weeks.

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Nicolas Jackson has told Chelsea he is keen to move this month.
The Senegal international is aware that a host of clubs are showing an interest in signing him.
TBR Football revealed last month that Chelsea were open to Jackson’s departure this month – and Jackson’s camp has already been doing work on potential options.
A number of clubs in Spain, Italy and Germany have shown an interest in Jackson’s situation including the likes of Bayern Munich, but we can reveal that interest from Newcastle and Villa has stepped up this month.
In the wake of Isak’s demands to leave – we confirmed that Jackson was on Newcastle’s shortlist to come in – and now having missed out on Benjamin Sesko, Newcastle have made further enquiries.
“I am told that Jackson’s camp have made it clear to Chelsea that he is looking at a move this month,” Bailey exclusively told TBR Football.
“He was concerned when Liam Delap came in and since the arrival of Joao Pedro the situation has only got worse.
“Jackson is looking at his options but I am told that Newcastle do appeal to him and likewise he has a huge amount of respect for Unai Emery at Villa.
“Given the cost involved, there is a good chance he moves within England.”
