The Iran war we loved so much is over? Our regime’s power lies before us like a lifeless corpse? The embarrassment of the cease-fire will be short-lived; Israel’s military, and its PR-wing in the newsroom, will regroup, and inevitably, another war will come

Yesterday, I was ashamed. For over a month, I rushed to and from the shelter, going down and up, down and up, knowing full well I was no more than cannon fodder in an unjustifiable war – all while doing nothing. I didn’t even go to protest at Habima Square. Like a sheep accepting its doom, I went down and up with a prayer in my heart: let the missile fall not on me, but on somebody else. Like an old member of the herd, I obeyed instructions. I was ready to lie flat and put my arms over my head, to go to a safe room. I asked no questions. I didn’t rebel. I was like an addict, listening to studio analysts.
