The Interim Head Coach said: “We’re letting the football do its talking. We want to do our talking on the pitch and we have been really pleased with our recent form.
“When a side can keep the ball out of their own net and continue to score in the other, that’s the mark of a good team. We can take pride in our performances, and particularly our clean sheets, which is a huge credit to our defensive unit.
“Our centre-halves deserve praise for their form because that partnership has been excellent. They complement each other well, George (Campbell) has attributes that Nat (Phillips) hasn’t and vice versa, they’re both great lads to have around the place too.
“At the start of the season, George had to do a job for the team, and now he’s got his shot in his best position – he’s taking that chance well. I don’t need to say too much to Stylesy (Callum Styles), he does his job and is happy to play wherever.
“I’ve been really pleased with Danny (Imray), he came in during a difficult time but has really grown. He’ll take great progress away from this loan, and that’s how it should be.
