The San Francisco 49ers made another move during Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft, trading linebacker Dee Winters to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a fifth-round selection.
San Francisco acquired pick No. 152 in the deal, adding another Day 3 asset as the front office continues to build draft capital. The move gives the 49ers additional flexibility heading into the later rounds of the draft.
Winters joined the 49ers as a sixth-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft.
