Police have issued a major update in a fatal hit-and-run investigation in Birmingham.
Shaun Harron, aged 44, tragically died in hospital today after being hit by a brown Vauxhall Astra in the early hours of this morning, April 26.
The collision took place at the junction of Romsley Road and Adams Hill in Bartley Green just after 12.30am.

The driver did not stop and headed off in the direction of Jiggins Lane.
Mr Harron was treated at the scene by paramedics and rushed to hospital, where he sadly passed away.
Detectives have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries and combing through CCTV in a bid to trace the driver.
This evening, West Midlands Police (WMP) said that officers have recovered a vehicle suspected of being involved in the collision.
A force spokesperson said: “We can confirm we have now recovered a car suspected of being linked to this incident, and this will be examined.
“We are still appealing for anyone with information or footage to please get in touch as we continue to investigate.”
Sgt Rich Evans from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, added: “Tragically Shaun Harron has lost his life after being struck by a car which did not then stop, and our thoughts are with his loved ones at this terrible time.
“We’d also ask anyone who was in the area or may have dashcam footage as they drove through at around the time of the collision, to get in contact.”
