Several pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in North York on Sunday evening, including an infant who suffered serious injuries, Toronto paramedics say.
Emergency services responded to the area of Caledonia Road and Glengrove Avenue West, south of Lawrence Avenue West, shortly before 6:30 p.m. for reports of multiple pedestrians struck.

When they arrived, they located four injured people, including an infant, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 20s, all of whom were taken to the hospital, Toronto police said.
Paramedics told CP24 that the infant and the woman sustained serious, possibly life-threatening injuries. The man’s injuries are serious but non-life-threatening, paramedics said.

They added that a fourth person with minor injuries was also assessed.
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The circumstances that led to the incident are unknown.
