LEBANON – The trip to Khiam, a Shi’ite town that on the eve of the war with Iran was home to 20,000 people, is led by Capt. B. He was born and bred in Kiryat Shmona, but like many people of his northern town, he, too, decided to leave. His family had returned between the rounds of fighting over the past two and a half years, but he’s decided that the situation there has become too difficult.
