More than two months passed before Ahmad Nassar was able to meet. On March 8, he was the victim of an assassination attempt. Following the life-saving surgery on his right leg, which had taken six bullets, he had begun physical therapy to learn how to walk again. He required a skin graft with tissue harvested from his left leg, and he underwent both occupational and psychological therapy.
