Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added former Canadian Football League receiver Bralon Addison to Mike O’Shea’s coaching staff.
Addison, who worked as a guest coach with the team since the start of rookie camp in May as part of the Canadian Football League’s Diversity in Football Program, will now serve as an offensive assistant in 2026.
The 32-year-old spent five seasons with Tommy Condell as his offensive coordinator in Hamilton and Ottawa. Condell holds the same role with Winnipeg entering the 2026 CFL season.

The University of Oregon product appeared in 63 regular-season games in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2018-22) and Ottawa Redblacks (2023-2025), recording 303 receptions for 3,543 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Addison was a CFL and East Division all-star in 2019. In March, the Missouri City, Texas native signed a one-day contract to retire with the RedBlacks prior to turning his attention to coaching.
The Blue Bombers opened training camp on Sunday, May 10. Winnipeg plays its first regular-season game against the Calgary Stampeders on Friday, June 5.
The Blue and Gold recently selected Wake Forest defensive lineman Nuer Gatkuoth with their first-round pick in the 2026 CFL Draft, adding to the club’s pass rush. The team’s other major offseason additions include receiver Tim White, offensive lineman Jarell Broxton, and defensive lineman Jake Ceresna.
In 2025, the Blue Bombers finished fourth in the West Division standings with a 10-8 record, qualifying for the playoffs as the crossover team before losing the East Semi-Final to the Montreal Alouettes.
