A man was killed and five others wounded in a terrorist attack at four locations in central Israel on Sunday, authorities said.
Officials said that one assailant who was killed during the attack was an Israeli citizen who lived in Taibeh, adding that security forces were searching for additional suspects.
Attackers initially wounded two , one seriously and one moderately, at a gas station near Kochav Yair. The assailants then continued to the nearby Tzur Yitzhak and moderately wounded two others. They went on to Tzur Natan, where they shot and killed a 30-year-old man and seriously wounded a 40-year-old man.
The attackers also fired at the security gate in Sal’it, where the settlement’s security coordinator returned fire and the attacker fled the scene.
