Following what appears to be a terror attack committed by a young man from Taibeh, a video clip was posted by Somaya Bashir, a social activist and possible future Member of Knesset for the Democrats, in which she read out a text that sounded as if it had been written by her party’s social media team. In it, she said what is de rigueur for this genre: that the terrorist doesn’t represent Israel’s Arab citizens, but only hatred and terrorism, and therefore, his actions should be condemned unequivocally.
