Bristol City can announce Brian Tinnion will leave his role as Technical Director ahead of the 2026/27 season. He will continue to work for the club as a Senior European Scout.
Brian’s association with Bristol City spans almost 35 years as a player, Manager and Academy Director before his most recent role.
His contribution to the club has been remarkable, having developed players like Antoine Semenyo and Alex Scott while working in the Academy, as well as playing a key role in First Team recruitment in recent years.
This new role sees Tinnion and the club continue their positive working relationship through a consultancy arrangement recruiting new talent in Southern Europe.
Bristol City CEO Charlie Boss said: “What Brian has achieved at Bristol City as a player and as part of the club’s senior leadership has been extraordinary.
This is the next step in that journey, allowing Brian to spend more time with his family while continuing to play a part in shaping Bristol City’s future by identifying the next generation of potential stars.”
Everyone at the club would like to thank Brian for his hard work and commitment.
We wish him and his family the very best for this next chapter.
