A University of Birmingham student, who chose not to be named, told BirminghamLive: “I was at the library earlier but I didn’t know anything of it was happening. “All of a sudden my friends came over and were like, ‘oh my god, have you seen outside?’” The student said it was “worrying” to find out a stabbing had taken place. “In the centre of town is really worrying,” he added.
