A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Shortly after 6.30am this morning, we were called to Kingswinford Road, Dudley, after a woman in her 50s received life-threatening injuries after falling from a bus.
“The woman was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.
“The investigation is being led by our Serious Collision Investigation Unit and we urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to get in touch.”
