The Johnson family farm, which originated as a dairy farm, became a zoo after Andy Johnson, who runs the farm, fell in love with alligators on a trip to Florida.
The zoo featured on an episode of ITV’s Britain’s Tiger Kings with Ross Kemp.
Mr Johnson runs the site alongside his wife, Tracey, and sons, George and Edward. It also has a farm shop, tea room and steakhouse.
He adopted several animals from a private collector and now has a large collection of crocodiles and alligators which are housed in an old cattle shed.
His collection includes the critically endangered Siamese crocodile, Caiman, American alligators, iguanas, turtles and tropical fish.
The family’s farm shop includes a butcher, and instead of throwing away the waste meat products, which would normally be incinerated, they are instead used to feed the crocodiles.
