Kim Jong Un called for North Korea to boost its nuclear capabilities “with increasing speed” and said the “bloody situation” in the Middle East makes his nuclear push the “most correct and unique way” to defend the country, state media reported.
“The reality goes to prove once again the justness of all of our political choices and the path we followed,” the North Korean leader said during a three-day politburo meeting of the ruling Workers’ Party that wrapped up Monday, according to the official Korean Central News Agency.
