COURT DOCUMENTS REVEAL GRAY HAS A LONG, VIOLENT CRIMINAL HISTORY DATING BACK TO 2016. THERE ARE SEVERAL COURT HEARINGS FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. HE STAYS DRUG POSSESSION, FIRST DEGREE ASSAULT AND GUN CHARGES. HIS RECORD INCLUDES A GUILTY PLEA IN 2018 ON ATTEMPTED SECOND DEGREE MURDER. HE WAS SENTENCED TO SEVEN YEARS IN PRISON. AUTHORITIES SAY HE AND MAJID WERE TRAVELING NORTH ON YORK ROAD, NEAR THE CIRCLE, WHEN THE SHOOTING TOOK PLACE. Last week, county police said investigators were searching for Reginald Gray Jr., 33, in connection with the fatal shooting of Towson University student Nasir Majied.
On Monday, police said detectives have taken a suspect into custody linked to Majied’s killing.
While police did not identify the person arrested, they said in a statement: “The active search related to this investigation has concluded.”
