The Israel Defense Forces blocks roads and imposes restrictions on the movement of Palestinians throughout the West Bank while systematically violating the military’s orders and explicit promises to the Supreme Court, the IDF’s legal advisor for the territories has determined. Col. Cobi Marcus stated his conclusion in a sharply worded letter he sent recently to IDF Central Command chief Avi Bluth and other senior military officials.
