A member of the board of Israel’s Zaka, an ultra-Orthodox organization whose members collect and identify victims in mass casualty events, has sued the nonprofit, alleging that at least 80 million shekels ($26 million) in donations raised abroad since the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack never reached the organization and demanding an investigation into the missing funds.
