Let Neguse know your views on Israel aid

How many children have died in Gaza from Israeli attacks since 2023? The latest estimate is somewhere around 20,000, with many more injured, of course.

Now the Trump administration wants to send another $3.3 billion of our tax dollars to Israel for more weapons and bombs. Punchbowl News reports: “In a closed House Dem meeting, rank and file lawmakers expressed alarm at having to vote on an amendment to cut off aid to Israel. Begging for leadership’s guidance.”

Our own Rep. Joe Neguse is House assistant minority leader, which makes him, according to his website, “a senior member of Democratic leadership.” So House Democrats will be looking to Neguse for advice on whether to send Israel all that military aid.

Neguse has taken plenty of money from AIPAC. But his primary responsibility is to represent his constituents. So he ought to know your view on what advice he should give the Democrats about military aid to Israel. His phone numbers are 202-225-2161 (DC) and 303-335-1045 (Boulder). To send him an email, go to neguse.house.gov/contact.

Misguided praise for Minnesota values

Re: Sue Winthrop: A powerful trip to Minnesota relates to our world today

Ms. Winthrop’s criticism of ICE and the praise of Minnesota values is misguided in light of all the Minnesota government corruption regarding the Somali immigrants with the governor and attorney general ignoring it. I stand with ICE supporting our immigration laws and deporting all the illegals. Shame on the government officials, NGOs, and religious organization that enabled this unlawful migration and I praise and welcome the immigrants who do it the lawful way.
