Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married!

After months of speculation over how they’d celebrate it, the mysterious Madison Square Garden rumors became a reality when paparazzi and countless chauffeured cars began pulling up outside the New York City arena Thursday and Friday.

In a statement shared with The Independent, Swift’s representative has revealed that the ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler and that Swift chose not to have bridesmaids.

Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as her Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was the groom’s Best Man.

“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,” the statement read.

“This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”

“Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor andJason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”

Around 7.30 p.m. Friday, LED signs outside the venue read “JUST&T MARRIED!” The “T&T” is a nod to their shared first initial, which has been featured on guest merchandise for the event.

Earlier that day, a convoy of countless blacked-out SUVs filed through Midtown’s closed-off West 33rd Street, carrying the hundreds of star-studded attendees. Those spotted include Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Camila Cabello, Hugh Grant, Dakota Johnson and Ed Sheeran.

White House mocks Taylor Swift wedding celebrations at New York’s Madison Square Garden

Donald Trump’s grudge against Taylor Swift is not taking a break on her wedding day.

Swift’s wedding to Kelce was celebrated with massive pink screens illuminated outside the iconic New York City arena proclaiming “JUST&T MARRIED” after the A-list couple said “I do” in front of more than 1,000 guests.

Shortly after the signs went up, the White House issued a takedown parodying the announcement.

“IT’S HAPPENED!!!” the White House’s official X account said in a post, along with an AI-generated picture of pink billboards saying, “Trump is your president.”

Adam Sandler, longtime Swiftie, was today more than just a ‘Wedding Singer’

Adam Sandler, who famously starred in the 1998 comedy The Wedding Singer, was a surprise choice to officiate today’s Swift-Kelce nuptials.

The former Saturday Night Live star has said in the past that he is a longtime fan of the pop superstar.

He’s also worked with Kelce before, having cast the NFL player to make a cameo appearance in his 2025 comedy Happy Gilmore 2.

Sandler has also made several guest appearances on Kelce’s New Heights podcast. Back in August 2024, he gushed about how big a fan he and his family are of Swift.

“What a girl!” said Sandler. “She means so much to our house. Since the kids… I think I was shooting Grown Ups or That’s My Boy in Massachusetts, and the kids were little, and we were listening to Taylor Swift, and listening to every song. It was one of the first times you’d listen to every song on the record.”

“When I was a kid, I think the Beatles you did that with, maybe Elton John. It’s not like three hits and then you go, alright, let me skip. With Taylor, we knew every tune, we knew every word. I loved listening to her in the car. I loved what she had to say. Her message, her melody… how cool she was… what she meant to young girls, what she meant to women, what she means to guys doing the right thing.”

The comedian added that Swift is the rare celebrity he gets nervous around, because, “I don’t want to f***in’ blow it for my kids and say something stupid! She means so much to my f***in’ house I better say the right thing here!”

Clearly, he must have said the right thing: Today, he was the one to declare the couple man and wife.

So, Dior won the wedding dress wars

Although we haven’t seen it yet, Christian Dior Haute Couture was behind Swift’s wedding dress.

Luxury fashion houses would have fought over who got to make Swift’s dress, but she ultimately listed Dior’s creative director, Jonathan Anderson, who worked in collaboration with Swift.

The Northern Irish designer, who has been at the helm of the company for a year, is also the founder of the luxury brand JW Anderson. The bag was part of one of Anderson’s earlier offerings at the house.

Huge thunderstorm hits NYC — but it spells good luck for the happy couple

Nobody wants it to rain on their wedding day, really, but a large thunderstorm has just hit New York City, just 30 minutes after Swift and Kelce said ‘I do!’

Well, it may be a sign, because rain on a wedding day is thought to be good luck. It’s a long-held belief in many cultures and religions, from Hinduism to Irish lore, though it’s often used to reassure couples who have a drizzly wedding.

The city has issued a “severe thunderstorm watch” until 11 p.m. Outside Madison Square Garden, the tents set up to shield guests are flapping in the wind.
