Some celebrity guests at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s star-studded wedding had never met the couple, or only recently — and briefly — made their acquaintance, sources say.
Multiple sources told us that the “Shake It Off” singer and the NFL star had cold invited some folks to the 1,000-person wedding, or had merely rubbed elbows with them before adding them to the hefty guest list.

Either way, we hear that the new friends in such cases were more than delighted to be there, according to multiple sources.

And at least the new friends showed up! “Wheel of Fortune” host Ryan Seacrest copped to canceling on Swift and Kelce’s nuptials — despite RSVP’ing yes — because he scored a hosting gig and “had no choice” but to work instead.
One retired NFL star, Will Compton, called out Kelce for leaving him off the guest list. saying in an interview with Dave Portnoy that he was “kinda flabbergasted” he didn’t make the cut.
