Saquon Barkley’s Chester County residence was the target of a home invasion on Saturday morning, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office said.

The home invasion occurred at around 5 a.m. in the Malvern section of Tredyffrin Township, the D.A.’s office said.

When officers arrived at the scene, the suspects had fled, but they believe the car below may have been involved in the incident.

Police also said they don’t believe the white SUV pictures was the only vehicle involved.

“We know there’s more than one, but we’re still trying to determine how many were involved,” said Capt. Tyler Moyer of the Tredyffrin Township Police Department .

Saquon and his family were inside the home at the time of the incident, and one suspect did enter the home, police said, but no one was injured.

“All of the occupants in the home were physically OK, obviously a little unsettled as anybody would be, but nobody was harmed,” Moore said.

Investigators also believe that nothing in Saquon’s home was taken.

“We are incredibly grateful that the Barkley family was not injured during this incident. We are asking the public to help us identify those responsible by checking any home security cameras for suspicious activity in the area around 5:00 a.m. If you saw anything unusual or have video that may assist investigators, please contact the Tredyffrin Township Police Department immediately,” the D.A.’s office said.

Possible connection to other robberies

The Tredyffrin Township Police Department also said that it was working with federal and other law enforcement agencies to determine whether the burglary could be connected to other break-ins targeting professional athletes across the country.

“We will look at all angles of this because we know, obviously, it’s been all over the news in the past few years about different professional athletes’ homes getting burglarized,” Moyer said.
