St Kilda superstar Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera is leaning towards Adelaide as his club of choice from 2026.

Foxfooty.com.au understands the South Australian’s preference has shifted in favour of the ladder-leading Crows, partly due to their rise into premiership contention.

Wanganeen-Milera is not believed to have made a final decision on his playing future but Foxfooty.com.au understands this is his current line of thinking.

The development is particularly significant given previous reports that cultural factors could steer him away from West Lakes.

For much of the year, his contract saga has been framed as a two-horse race between the Saints — who have tabled a lucrative offer to keep him — and Port Adelaide, long considered the natural fit given his ties to players such as Jason Horne-Francis and Jase Burgoyne, on top of a reported “once-in-a-lifetime” contract.

The Power have been widely viewed as frontrunners as the contract saga dragged on but the Crows will arguably find it easier to satisfy St Kilda in a trade, given the former do not own their 2025 first-round pick, sending it to Gold Coast in the Jack Lukosius deal.

Both the Saints and Power remain hopeful of securing the playmaker, but with Adelaide emerging as a serious contender, what was once reported as a shoot-out between two clubs, has become three with the Crows ahead as it stands.

Despite constant speculation, Wanganeen-Milera has handled himself superbly this season, with the contract saga showing no signs of affecting his performances.

St Kilda’s last game for 2025 is against GWS next Sunday afternoon at ENGIE Stadium, with the Saints hopeful of finishing the season with a 10th win.
