A status yellow thunderstorm warning has been issued for Cork, Kerry, and Limerick for Monday.
The warning will be in place from 9am tomorrow morning, with Met Éireann warning of lightning damage, possible power outages, localised flooding, and difficult travelling conditions until the warning lapses at 6pm on Monday evening.

According to Met Éireann, while Sunday night will be dry and clear with temperatures ranging from around 12C to 17C, cloud will build over much of Munster, south Leinster and south Connacht through Monday morning giving way to showers and thunderstorms.
Conditions across the northern half of the country remain dry, however. Highest temperatures on Monday will range from around 19C to 25C warmest in the midlands and west.
Over the coming week, the forecaster says that, after days of further showers on Monday and Tuesday, conditions will become drier into midweek as temperatures fall back slightly but continue above average for the time of year.
On Monday night, further showers expected, particularly in southwestern half of the country, some of which will be heavy. Monday night will be yet another dry and humid night, with temperatures not falling lower than 11C to 17C in mostly light east to northeast breezes.
Tuesday looks set to be day of sunny spells and scattered showers, which will again be mainly concentrated in the southwest, though the showers will become more isolated through the evening. The best of the dry weather on Tuesday will be in Ulster. Highest temperatures on Tuesday will range from 18C or 19C in the east to 23C or 24C degrees in the west.
Tuesday night is forecast to be largely dry with clear spells and just a few isolated showers, and temperatures falling back to between 11C to 15C or so.
At this stage, both Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be mainly dry for most with a mix of cloud and sunny spells with just a few stray showers occurring. Highest temperatures each day will range from about 17C to 22C degrees in light, occasionally moderate east or southeast breezes.
