Many Israelis who have left the country or have moved their center of life abroad have not given up on Israel and have not stopped seeing it as their home and homeland. Many of them now wish to participate in the election
Article 5 of the Basic Law on the Knesset states clearly, in no uncertain terms, that “every Israeli citizen aged 18 or over is eligible to vote in elections to the Knesset, unless a court of law has deprived him of this right in accordance with the law.”
