U.S. is ‘grasping at straws for a coherent strategy’ on Iran

Mehran Kamrava of Georgetown University in Qatar says Tehran is taking President Trump’s latest threats to escalate strikes seriously. However, he notes that Iranian leaders are also mindful of Trump’s tendency to “exaggerate” and not always follow through. He adds that the U.S. appears to be “grasping at straws” in its search for a coherent strategy.
