Higher education institutions couldn’t receive federal student aid if they participate in certain boycotts of Israel under H.R. 4795.
The bill would prohibit student aid from being dispensed to colleges and universities that engage in a non-expressive commercial boycott of Israel, which the bill would define as limiting commercial relations with Israel without a valid business reason.
Entities that are licensed or regulated by Israel also couldn’t be boycotted by the institution.
