The Israeli army raided the village of Al-Mughayyir in the central occupied West Bank and detained several young Palestinians, while Israeli occupiers stole water tanks in the northern Jordan Valley, local sources said Saturday.
The sources told Anadolu that Israeli forces entered Al-Mughayyir to protect occupier shepherds who had gathered near Palestinian homes west of the village.
The forces detained several young men in their vehicle and took them to the Shaab al-Louz area west of Al-Mughayyir, where they forced them to reopen a secondary road that had been blocked, the sources said.
Israeli forces also raided the village of Arura northwest of Ramallah, as well as the villages of Abwein, Jiljilya and Ajjul north of the city. No arrests were reported.
In a separate incident, Israeli occupiers stole iron and plastic tanks and barrels used by Palestinians to store water for their livestock in the northern Jordan Valley on Saturday evening, according to local sources.
Around 750,000 Israeli occupiers live in 194 illegal settlements and 400 outposts across the occupied West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem. They carry out almost daily attacks aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians from their land.
Since Israel launched its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 8, 2023, the occupied West Bank has witnessed daily raids by the Israeli army and attacks by Israeli occupiers.
