Security forces located a missing Israeli after several hours of search operations in the West Bank after he entered a Palestinian village of his own volition.

The forces launched an interdepartmental manhunt in order to locate him after he was reported to have entered an unspecified Palestinian village.

Sardal was found “safe and sound,” the joint statement said.

As part of the search, the police sent out a search helicopter to the area, and IPS deployed its tactical Metzada Unit, which, among other things, specializes in hostage rescue operations.
