A federal judge halted new Trump administration restrictions on international students’ admission to the US.

The Department of Homeland Security failed to meaningfully consider alternatives to the policy or show a rational connection between the rule and its purported objectives, US District Court for the District of Massachusetts Judge F. Dennis Saylor found in an order Monday.
