The Folkestone Grand Burstin Hotel is a 14-story, 550-room seafront entertainment hotel located on Marine Parade overlooking Folkestone Harbour.
Built in the 1970s (opening in 1975 as Hotel Burstin) on the site of the former mid-19th-century Royal Pavilion Hotel, the 200-foot-tall building was controversially designed to resemble the front of a ship.
There are two restaurants, the Victorian and the Harbour, which serve quality hand-crafted recipes. The Ocean bar hosts the live entertainment programme, music from the resident band and bingo. There is also a late night disco.
