Conditions Sent to Washington
Iran’s security chief Mohsen Rezaei said Iran has conveyed its conditions to mediators for re-engaging in negotiations aimed at ending the war with the United States, and that Tehran is waiting for US President Donald Trump’s response after Iran passed a message via Qatar.

Rezaei told Al Jazeera that “We remain in contact with the mediator Qatar, which has conveyed our conditions to Washington with the aim of ending the war. We are awaiting President [Donald] Trump’s response,” and he said the conditions include ending the war on all fronts, releasing frozen funds and ending the naval blockade.

In a separate report, aapnews.aap.au said Rezaei told al-Jazeera that Iran is waiting for Trump’s response after passing on a message via Qatar, and it added that consultations were continuing with Qatari and Pakistani mediators.
Diplomacy With a Threat
Rezaei framed the negotiations alongside preparations for escalation, telling Al Jazeera that “Trump’s threats will not achieve any results. We are prepared for a decisive war.”
He also said Iran had recently test-fired a multi-warhead antiship missile near a US vessel or aircraft carrier, and he described future Iranian response as heavy, encompassing US bases in the region and US commercial interests and companies operating locally.
Iran International reported that Rezaei said Tehran was demanding an end to the war “on all fronts,” the release of frozen Iranian assets and an end to the US naval blockade as conditions for reaching a settlement, and it added that Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was sending to Tehran on Sunday.I
The same Iran International report said Rezaei struck a harder military tone after the United States withdrew from the memorandum, and it stated that Rezaei claimed Iran was better prepared to confront American air attacks after identifying weaknesses in the US military.I
War Costs and UN Findings
Univision said the Pentagon’s casualty tally totals 18 dead and more than 830 wounded, and it reported that the report does not account for damage to U.S. bases in the Middle East, which the Islamic Republic has attacked with ballistic missiles and drones.
On the legal and human-rights front, BBC said UN human rights experts found “reasonable grounds” to believe the United States committed war crimes in two attacks on Iranian territory that killed at least 177 civilians, including a missile strike on a primary school in Minab and an attack on a sports complex in Lamerd.
