One dead, one in custody after shooting in Northwest Albuquerque
Albuquerque police are investigating a fatal shooting at a residence on Sabre Court Northwest, with one person in custody
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Albuquerque Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a deadly shooting reported just before midnight on Sunday on the 6200 block of Sabre Court.
That’s near 4th Street and Osuna Road.
Officers responded to a residence after receiving reports of a shooting and found one person deceased at the scene, according to police.
One person is currently in custody.
Police have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or identified the person who died.
An investigation is ongoing.
