Talented defender Tyrell Dewar has been called up, alongside debutant Lucca Grego, for Saturday’s season-finale against Sydney at Optus Stadium.
Dewar returns after two impressive matches in the WAFL and will play his 16th AFL game for the season.
The silky-skilled 21-year-old has had 51 disposals across the past two WAFL Eagles outings, while Grego has been rewarded for his perseverance.
The Bacchus Marsh product has played 17 WAFL matches in his first year at the club, averaging 16.9 disposals, and kept pushing for a breakthrough at AFL level.
Grego becomes the Eagles’ 10th debutant for 2025 – and the final member of last year’s draft intake to get his wings – following in the footsteps of Bo Allan, Jobe Shanahan, Tom Gross, Hamish Davis and Malakai Champion.
Making way for the Eagles youngsters are Matt Owies (calf) and Ryan Maric (illness).
Jack Petruccelle, Harvey Johnston and Jack Williams are the emergencies for Saturday evening’s ‘Member Thank You Round’ clash.
Bouncedown is at 5.35pm, with the match broadcast live on 7mate and 7-plus in WA, and nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo.
