When Hayden Panettiere’s dead body was discovered in August, drugs and drug paraphernalia were found on the scene.
Pressed pills that tested positive for fentanyl were discovered on a table beside her, as well as a straw, according to a Greenville County Medical Examiner report obtained by Page Six on Wednesday.
Additionally, white powder was in a sunglasses case inside the actress’ suitcase.

The “Nashville” alum’s body, which was found on a rug in front of a couch when officials arrived, had turned “deep purple,” per the report.
Her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother Zach Hickerson, were present on the scene — administering Narcan and performing CPR — and one revealed that Panettiere was initially found on the sofa bed.
She was, according to the report, sitting “crisscross applesauce, face down and unresponsive.”
The individual also claimed that he had administered Narcan to Panettiere on a previous occasion and that she had been in a Malibu, California, rehab facility up until a “few weeks” before her tragic passing.

Her dad, Skip Panettiere, spoke with officials over the phone and said his daughter had been in rehab “multiple times” since her early 20s.
Hayden’s rep responded to Page Six’s request for comment on the report, stating, “The investigation surrounding the circumstances of her death is still ongoing.”
TMZ was the first to share the latest details from the South Carolina medical examiner.
The initial report revealed Tuesday that Hayden died as a result of the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol and quetiapine.
Alprazolam, notably, is an anti-anxiety medication commonly known by the brand name Xanax, while methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant and quetiapine is a drug used to treat major depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

4-ANPP, meanwhile, is a chemical precursor and intermediate that is used illegally to manufacture fentanyl, as well as related synthetic opioids.
Naloxone, the active medicine in Narcan, was also found in Hayden’s system, as well as cotinine, a substance formed by the breakdown of nicotine.
The “Heroes” alum’s manner of death was ultimately ruled an accident.
A statement from the Coroner’s Office revealed a 911 call “regarding a reported cardiac arrest” was made on Aug. 16 at 1:51 p.m. — and the Golden Globe nominee was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m. after resuscitation efforts.
“Panettiere was found unresponsive inside the residence, where she had been temporarily
staying,” the coroner noted. “At autopsy no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death.”

The 36-year-old is survived by daughter Kaya, 12, whom she welcomed with then-partner Wladimir Klitschko.
Page Six reported that Hayden planned to visit the preteen, who lives with her father, in Germany, after celebrating her own Aug. 21 birthday.
Klitschko, 50, and Kaya did not appear to be present when Hayden was honored over the weekend with a celebration of life at a Malibu, California, church attended by Connie Britton, Paris Hilton and more celebrity pals.
