Police say multiple masked suspects were confronted by a homeowner after they broke into a residence in Waterloo.
The break-and-enter occurred Wednesday night around 11:35 p.m. in the Sunnydale Pl. and Cedarbrae Ave. neighbourhood.
Police say the individuals wearing masks forced their way into the residence but the homeowner was inside and confronted them.
The suspects fled before police arrived and no descriptions have been released.
No injuries were reported and police believe it was a targeted incident.
