Travis Boak will celebrate his 387th and final game on Friday night.

OUT: Sinn 8 (injured), Wines 16 (suspended), Lorenz 36 (omitted)

Travis Boak will add two new names to the long list of teammates he has shared the field with as Port Adelaide unleash a pair of debutants in its former captain’s 387th and final game.

Mid-season draftees Harrison Ramm and Ewan Mackinlay will line up against the Gold Coast to taste AFL football for the first time, while Boak bids farewell to the game after 19 storied years at Alberton.

Fellow retiree, Rory Atkins will also play his final AFL game after being named to face his former side, selected on the extended bench alongside tall forward Ollie Lord, first-year player Christian Moraes and the aforementioned debutants Ramm and Mackinlay. The sub will be selected from this quintet one hour prior to first bounce.

Making way is the trio of Josh Sinn (injured), Ollie Wines (suspended) and Will Lorenz (omitted), with 2021 Brownlow Medallist Wines’ three-game ban for rough conduct upheld at tribunal earlier in the week.

Since being selected with Pick 5 in the 2006 AFL draft, Boak has become one of Port Adelaide most decorated players. His final game will come alongside longtime senior coach Ken Hinkley, who is set to depart Port Adelaide as well, as the club transitions to Josh Carr taking the reins into 2026. Meanwhile, fans will also have the chance to say goodbye to club stalwart, and current forwards coach, Chad Cornes who will not continue in his role next season.

Friday’s game begins at 7:40pm Adelaide time, and the match will be broadcast live on Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo.

Fans are encouraged to get to the game and be in their seats early, with a Celebration of Boaky planned for 7:21pm prior to the team running out.
