A man is dead in an early morning shooting near a downtown Durham bar.
Officers responded to the area of Rigsbee Avenue and West Corporation Street for a call of a gunshot wound.
When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot.
He was taken to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

Witnesses told WRAL a fight happened outside of a nearby bar before the shooting happened.
No arrests have been made.
