The family of a woman who was found dead in Darlington has described her as being kind-hearted and somebody who would do anything for anyone.
Leanne Park, who was pronounced dead at an address in Parkgate on Wednesday, was said to have been the “best mam, nana, daughter and friend we could wish for”.
Durham Constabulary said its investigation remained ongoing, with a 44-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder remaining in custody.
A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has now been released on bail, the force said.
