It’s always been tough for the followers of MAGA; the world is out to get you, so you turned to a corrupt conman billionaire to save you from the … corruption of billionaires.
The results, while predictable, are finally hitting home—literally—for many Trump loyalists, who are now openly talking about plans to vote against Republicans, whose betrayal has become personal.
Meet lifelong Texas conservative Dave Lowe, who recently found out that a data center is planned for his community. That’s a bummer for Lowe, since he’s used to crappy right-wing policies burdening other people only.
“This is the first time in my adult life where there’s been an issue that’s come up that I feel like is going to directly impact me,” he told “60 Minutes” on Sept. 20. “I’m going to vote for the candidate that is willing to speak up and put up and do something to help us with this issue.”

Similarly, Iowa farmer Kevin Middleswart told CNBC that, after years of seeing a sea of red lawn signs, “I’m seeing a lot of blue signs this election cycle.”
In fact, he’s not seeing any red signs anywhere these days.
“That’s telling me something. Somebody is out there and they’ve changed their mind,” he said.
After voting for Trump three times, they are ready to turn the page on him because of skyrocketing diesel prices.

“Y’all thought it was bad under fucking Biden, man. Like, this shit is crazy,” one former MAGA trucker said on TikTok. “I was doing 100 times better under Biden—100 times better. Jobs were plentiful. The market was decent. Gas got shot up one time in 2022 and then dropped back down for the rest of his term. Salaries were nice when I was in the trucking industry.”
