MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — UPDATE: Bibb County Sheriff David Davis is speaking with the media Sunday afternoon, following an early morning shooting that left 11 people injured, two critically, overnight at Carolyn Crayton Park.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that injured 11 people at Carolyn Crayton Park in Macon early Sunday morning.
The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center just after midnight Sunday.
Deputies were responding to the park to investigate reports of a shooting during a large gathering. While en route, deputies received reports that several victims were arriving at a local medical facility in personal vehicles for treatment of gunshot wounds.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, four 18-year-old males, five 17-year-old males and two 18-year-old females were treated for injuries.
Medical staff reported that one 18-year-old male and one 17-year-old male are in critical condition. The remaining nine victims are listed in stable condition.
The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is working to determine what led to the shooting.
Investigators have not released additional details about a possible suspect or suspects.
