PELHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The body of a missing Alabaster man has been found in Pelham, officials said Sunday.
City of Pelham officials told WBRC that Pelham Dispatch received a call at 1:25 Sunday afternoon about a property owner finding a body on their property.

Pelham Police said they arrived, secured the area, and confirmed that a body had been found by a body of water.
City officials said detectives and evidence technicians were called to the scene to assist.
Authorities said they were aware of a missing person from Alabaster, Glen “Mo” Spence, and that the body found Sunday had the same type of clothing as Spence.
Sunday evening, Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans confirmed that the body found was Glen Spence.
Police said that 67-year-old Glen Spence, who also goes by the nickname “Mo,” was last seen on Thursday, Aug. 13 around 7 p.m.(Alabaster Police Department)
Evans said there does not appear to be any trauma to Spence and that other examinations will be performed by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
