Rafael chairman Yuval Steinitz, Israel Police Commissioner Daniel Levy, Indian Ambassador to Israel J.P. Singh, senior reserve officers, local council leaders and defense experts will gather to examine the strategic changes Israel has undergone during three years of war and the security challenges ahead.
Marking three years since the October 7 attack and the outbreak of the War of Revival, the Israel Defense and Security Forum (IDSF-Habithonistim) will hold its “From Crisis to Triumph” security conference on October 7, 2026, bringing together senior figures from Israel’s defense establishment, reserve commanders, defense industry leaders, diplomats and local council heads.
The conference will examine the strategic changes Israel has undergone during three years of war and the challenges reshaping the country’s threat landscape. Discussions will focus on capabilities developed during the war, ground combat across multiple fronts, Israel’s technological edge and the diplomatic implications of the multi-front conflict.
Prof. Yuval Steinitz, Chairman of the Board of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, will address the technological dimension of the war and the role of Israel’s defense industries in strengthening national security. Indian Ambassador to Israel J.P. Singh will discuss Israel’s diplomatic standing and the importance of international partnerships during a prolonged conflict. Israel Police Commissioner Daniel Levy will address national security challenges and the home front.
Lt. Col. (res.) Itamar Eitam will focus on Israel’s ground forces, while Dov Oster, father of the late Capt. Eitan Oster, will address the role of national spirit and the human cost of the war.
National resilience after three years of war will be another central theme of the conference. In a special panel moderated by IDSF CEO Col. (res.) Dr. Ronen Itzik, Col. (res.) Ilan Dickstein, father of the late Lt. Ivri Dickstein, and Gabi Naaman, Head of the Shlomi Local Council, will discuss the resilience of Israel’s home front and communities along the conflict lines, lessons learned since October 7 and the challenges Israel faces in strengthening national resilience in the years ahead.
The conference will also address arenas in which the struggle against Israel is waged beyond the conventional battlefield. Entrepreneur and philanthropist Yossi Hollander will discuss the expansion of international delegitimization efforts against Israel and the growing “soft campaign” in the international arena.
The conference will conclude with IDSF Chairman Brig. Gen. (res.) Erez Winner, who will address evolving internal security threats and “the campaign for the home,” focusing on domestic security and the challenges Israel’s security establishment will face in the coming years.
