One person injured after shooting at Burke High School
OMAHA, Neb. —
Officials have confirmed to KETV that there has been a shooting at Burke High School.
We know that the call went out around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, at least one person has been shot in the arm and has critical injuries. Officials said the victim has a non-life-threatening injury.

Officials confirmed to KETV that one person is in custody. Omaha police said it is believed to be an isolated incident between two people.

Omaha Public Schools tells KETV the shooting happened on school grounds, but not inside the school.
Shooting reported outside Burke High School
Around 8:15 a.m., the district said a firearm has been recovered.
Omaha police said secure status was lifted at the school shortly after the firearm was recovered.
Witnesses are being asked to go to Burke Boulevard south of the school and find an officer to report what they saw, Omaha police said.
