A 12-year-old boy is in hospital with critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Yonge Street and Lawrence Avenue area.
A 12-year-old boy is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in midtown Toronto on Friday night.
Toronto police say it occurred at the intersection of Duplex Avenue and Lawrence Avenue West, near Yonge Street, shortly before 6:30 p.m.
The boy’s injuries are critical but not life-threatening, police say. According to Toronto paramedics, the boy was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are unknown.
