The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) are warning the public of a high-risk sex offender who will be residing in Vancouver.
According to the VPD, Skylar Wayne Pelletier poses a significant risk to women in the area.
He has previous convictions for sexual assault, committing sex assault, break and enter and assault.
Pelletier has previously been released to the Vancouver area on long-term supervision orders, including in 2021 and 2024.
He is described as being six foot one, 180 pounds with a medium build. He has short black hair and brown eyes.
The VPD say that Pelletier has several conditions that he has to abide by while living in Vancouver, including not having contact any of his victims, not to use drugs or alcohol, a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew and not allowed to possess knives.
The VPD asks that if anyone witnesses Pelletier in violation of any of these conditions to call 9-1-1.
